these pivotal times require our
presence and engagement
Globally, we have pushed our ecological and social systems past their limits. We see the effects all around us. Our planet’s entire ecosystem is severely threatened as is civilization as we know it. Even though most of us are aware of the unprecedented historical situation we are in, we continue daily life as if everything is normal, it all will work out, or there is nothing we could do.
how are we being called to respond?
Only when we move beyond distraction, normalization, and fatalism are we able to inquire into what is our experience of these times and how we are called to respond to it. Amidst uncertainty, we can practice to stay grounded in gratefulness, presence and well-being, holding both the reality of these times and the wonder of life.
This living inquiry needs to be integrated in our daily life. It is too large and complex to be undertaken alone. Facing the magnitude of the issues confronting us can overwhelm our nervous systems. Co-regulation and group support are necessary for resilience. In our shared presence, greater individual and collective clarity can arise.
we offer a space to inquire together
We create a dynamic and intentional space to inquire together into how we are being called to respond in these times through our presence and action. Within a small group, we offer a strong container for this Courageous Inquiry.
The Five Ways of Being — being clear, present, real, connected, and life-directed — offer an ideal framework. They serve as our compass, inviting stillness, deep listening and honest exchange.
Together, we explore how we can help shape a life-giving future, because we are all part of this transition. We don't know how the future will unfold, but we can choose to show up with courage and grace.
how do we live our response?
Courageous Inquiry is not a discussion group in which we talk about our beliefs and opinions. Nor is it a brainstorming session in which we explore strategies. It is a call to hold these living questions in our awareness, to embody them, and to allow inner wisdom to lead us.
Our purpose is to support you to live your response to these times in daily life and to bring it into the groups, communities, and initiatives you are a part of.
we invite you into the courageous inquiry with us
